Acquired in May from IMCO Technologies, Amcom Critical Test Results Management has been given several enhancements, including integration with Amcom's Mobile Connect encrypted smartphone communications offering.

A new emergency department discrepancy module is designed to help identify and communicate any differences between the preliminary diagnosis by the emergency department and the final diagnosis by radiology, according to Amcom. In addition, the company has added support for communicating critical test results across multiple facilities in different locations.

Amcom has also updated the software's user interface to make it similar to the company's broader suite of products.
