ImageZone is a cloud-based medical image-sharing platform, a service that will be offered to healthcare providers exclusively by the Indiana HIE. ImageZone joins the Indiana HIE's suite of interoperable standards-based services including the Indiana Network for Patient Care, the Quality Health First Program, and Docs4Docs.
With SeeMyRadiology.com's Web portal, sending facilities can upload images and enable Internet-based access in diagnostic quality for referring physicians, consulting radiologists, patients, and other authorized users.
ImageZone requires no software download at the recipient's site and offers an intuitive interface with a full range of communication options for image viewing and collaboration, according to AccelaRad.
