Multiple Image Manager/Archive is designed to add support for transactions between image manager/archives and allows an image manager/archive to support multiple patient identifier assigning authorities, according to IHE.

The committee also published a supplement to the IHE Radiology Technical Framework for trial implementation, Chest X-Ray CAD Display.

The Chest X-Ray CAD Display profile specifies how DICOM chest computer-aided detection (CAD) evidence objects are applied for display. It also describes how image displays make use of the content in the chest to render CAD marks on projection radiographs of the chest encoded as computed radiography, digital x-ray, or secondary capture images.

The public comment submission deadline is July 19.
