Agfa wins contracts for Impax system
November 30, 2009 -- Agfa HealthCare has acquired more than 50 new worldwide agreements for its Impax PACS system, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based firm.

Impax is a Web-deployable image and information management system, designed to streamline enterprise workflow and deliver increased efficiency and productivity to healthcare facilities.
The new agreements in 2009 comprised local, regional, and university care centers, including the Rostov Medical University in Russia, the Santa Catarina de Rio de Janeiro facility in Brazil, and the Cleveland Clinic in the U.S., according to the company.
