MITA applauds Senate efforts on helium supply bill

  • In testimony today before the committee, Tom Rauch, GE Healthcare's global sourcing manager for servicing and aftermarket solutions, endorsed the legislation, which lays out a resource management strategy for the Federal Helium Reserve, MITA said. Liquid helium is used to cool MRI magnets to temperatures suitable for imaging.
