A CareMap represent multiple disciplines within healthcare and describes the steps and decision points in the management of a specific condition or diagnosis, MedidaMetrics said. CareMaps can be customized to represent how and when services are delivered and provide clinical practice support.
MedidaMetrics' ExactCost offering is designed to help an institution identify costs at both a line item and process level. Alternatives can be analyzed to determine the effects of new approaches.
As part of the collaboration, the Mayo Clinic will receive equity in MedidaMetrics, the company said. The Mayo Clinic also participated in MedidaMetrics' financing.
