For the period (end-March 31), RadNet had revenue of $168.5 million, up from $144.1 million a year ago. Overall imaging volume climbed 18.9% compared to the first quarter of 2011.

While aggregate growth was driven primarily by its CML acquisition last November, organic volume growth was also more than 5%, said Dr. Howard Berger, president and CEO.

RadNet had a first-quarter net loss of $111,000, compared with a net loss of $876,000 in the same quarter last year.

The company reaffirmed its 2012 full-year guidance.
