The new version adds three enhancements for quantitative analysis of amyloid PET images. The MIM BrainAlign deformable registration algorithm, with the ability to register to multiple templates simultaneously, facilitates accurate resolution of local differences in anatomy, the company said. A third amyloid brain atlas is designed for performing quantitative regional analysis on amyloid PET images, and a database of health controls has been integrated for statistical analysis of amyloid PET images.
Existing tools for statistical comparisons found in earlier versions of the software, including voxel-based analysis, region-based analysis, cluster analysis, and surface projection analysis, have been retained.
