Bracco acquires Latin American subsidiaries
April 27, 2012 -- Contrast agent developer Bracco is establishing a direct presence in Latin America by acquiring subsidiaries in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico of contrast media distributor Justesa Imagen.

The move is the latest in the firm's long-term strategy to strengthen its presence in key global markets, Bracco said.
Along with newly acquired affiliates in South Korea, Scandinavia, and Central Eastern Europe, the Latin American offices will serve to strengthen the company's relationship with local scientific communities by offering contrast media, contrast administration systems, and imaging equipment, backed by global support, according to Bracco.
