She succeeds Mike Barber, who held the position since 2009 and has been named vice president and general manager of molecular imaging at GE Healthcare.
Siegel joins the company from Mohr Davidow Ventures, where she was a general partner leading investments spanning molecular diagnostics and digital health. She previously served as president of Affymetrix and also worked for Amersham International, Bio-Rad, DuPont, and Eastman Kodak.
More than 50 validated healthymagination products are being sold and more than $2.5 billion has been invested in healthymagination, according to GE.
