The center promotes the growth of the Canadian medical imaging technology sector, working with researchers and small- to medium-sized enterprises in the medical imaging and digital pathology industries to accelerate the commercialization of imaging innovations.

Sullivan previously served as director of business development for life sciences at London Economic Development. Prior to that appointment, he was a vice president at 3M Canada, heading its medical imaging division.
