The series of free, online, mobile-compatible educational offerings is designed to allow radiologists, imaging technologists, and medical physicists to assess their own understanding of important radiation safety concepts such as radiation dose monitoring and optimization, according to Image Wisely.

The first case, "CT Dose and Size-Specific Dose Estimate (SSDE)," offers a total of 0.5 American Medical Association (AMA) Physician's Recognition Award (PRA) Category 1 credit, 0.5 Medical Physics Continuing Education Credit (MPCEC), and 0.5 Category A credit from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Case content includes embedded questions that provide expert feedback, as well as references and resources for further study, according to Image Wisely. A total of six cases will be presented throughout the year.
