Varian installs 1st TrueBeam RT system in Thailand

  • Radiation oncologists at the Chulabhorn Hospital anticipate using TrueBeam primarily for radiosurgical procedures for lung and liver cancer patients who are deemed inoperable. A patient with recurrent liver cancer was among the first to receive stereotactic ablative radiotherapy treatments, according to Varian.
