    Hitachi's Echelon Oval MRI scanner.

Echelon Oval features an oval-shaped magnet bore with a width of 74 cm to enhance patient accessibility, reduce patient claustrophobia, and offer a range of clinical capabilities, Hitachi said.

The system also includes Hitachi's Workflow Integrated Technology (WIT) suite, which offers an integrated coil system and wide mobile table to enhance the imaging process.

Echelon Oval was first introduced at the RSNA 2011 meeting.
