The initiative, which is operated by the GE Patient Safety Organization, will be conducted without cost from April through June. Members, which currently include hospitals in Canada, the U.K., and the U.S., can share best practices and collaborate on patient safety initiatives either individually or as a hospital.
GE plans to work with participating facilities and healthcare professionals during the evaluation to help in the design of the network, with the eventual goal of releasing a commercial offering some time this year.
