  • KBCT is a fully integrated, dedicated breast CT scanner designed to image an entire breast with high spatial and contrast resolution at a radiation dose similar to or less than that of mammography. It is designed to eliminate tissue overlap and superimposition of structures, which potentially can lead to an inability to diagnose breast cancer early.

    The system can acquire a set of images in 10 seconds, creating 3D images and multiplanar cross-sectional slices.
