Philips appoints new CEO as Rusckowski leaves
April 12, 2012 -- Philips Healthcare's CEO Steve Rusckowski has resigned, and will be replaced May 1 by Deborah DiSanzo, according to Bloomberg.

Rusckowski will become Quest Diagnostics' new chief executive, that company said in a statement, replacing Surya Mohapatra, PhD. Rusckowski will also become a member of Quest's board of directors, the company said.
DiSanzo joined Philips in 2001 when the company bought the healthcare solutions group of Agilent. She became general manager of Philips' patient monitoring division in 2006, CEO of the healthcare informatics and patient monitoring business in 2008, and CEO of patient care and clinical informatics in 2010.
