Software development and services firm HIT Application Solutions of Exton, PA, announced that two industry veterans have joined the company. Pete Brower has assumed the role of vice president of engineering, and John Cardwell is the vice president of sales.
In his new role, Brower will lead the company's product development and support initiatives. He has nearly 25 years of experience in healthcare IT in roles of increasing responsibility at Shared Medical Systems and Siemens Healthcare. During his career, he has worked across a wide variety of clinical and business applications both domestically and internationally, according to the company.
Cardwell brings more than 35 years of sales, marketing, and executive leadership experience gained at Shared Medical Systems, drkoop.com, and Daou Systems. In his new role at HIT, he will lead new customer acquisition strategy as the company looks to rapidly expand deployment of the Notifi CTRM application.
