Image display firm Barco of Kortrijk, Belgium, will launch the commercial release of its 10-megapixel Coronis Fusion 10MP display system at the upcoming RSNA show in Chicago.
Coronis Fusion 10MP incorporates new, proprietary SmoothGray technology for the presentation of ultraprecise grayscale images.
The display has 4,096 x 2,560 resolution and is designed for high-resolution grayscale studies, including chest, bone, and breast images. It also features advanced IPS WideView LCD technology for enhanced brightness and contrast, dark blacks, and geometry.
Coronis Fusion 10MP has obtained 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
