Archiving services provider InSite One's InDex vendor-neutral enterprise archive (VNA) archived more than 2 million exams in the month of October, averaging 67,500 exams per day.
According to the Wallingford, CT-based company, the total is the highest monthly volume since the company was founded in 1999.
InSite One's medical data archive contains more than 6% of the U.S. population's imaging studies and related reports, connecting more than 800 healthcare institutions nationally.
