InSite One gets South African distribution

Archiving services provider InSite One has inked a distribution agreement with a South African firm to install the company's InDex vendor-neutral enterprise archive, the Wallingford, CT-based firm said.

Xeikona Medical Solutions of Johannesburg will deploy InSite One's InDex as a central repository for clinical data in hosted data centers, specifically for the mining industry as part of the African Digital Data Exchange (ADDEX) project.

InDex services, in conjunction with Xeikona's PACS software, will offer quicker turnaround of diagnostic images and reduce duplicated studies while allowing miners to return to work faster with a completed diagnostic report, InSite said.
