RadTrac launches dose tracking system at RSNA

At this week's RSNA meeting in Chicago, informatics and biotech firm RadTrac announced release of its new Radiation Dosage Tracking System (RDTS) designed to monitor patient radiation exposure.

Patient radiation levels are tracked and monitored through RadTrac's proprietary RDTS software engine. Once cumulative dose reaches an unsafe level, the system alerts healthcare providers to enable review of diagnostic options prior to exposing the patient to more radiation.

RadTrac is a joint venture of Binovia, an informatics and biomedical services firm, and Study Overflow Solutions, a teleradiology and practice management firm.
