Imaging Biometrics wins research grant

Advanced visualization software developer Imaging Biometrics has won a phase II research grant from the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) to further develop its main product, IB Neuro.

The $800,000, two-year grant is under the auspices of the NIH's National Cancer Institute Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. Imaging Biometrics will use the grant to continue to develop and distribute perfusion and diffusion analysis software for evaluating brain tumors and stroke, according to the Elm Grove, WI-based vendor.
