MIS names Heller as chief medical officer

Molecular Imaging Services (MIS) has appointed Dr. Gary Heller as its chief medical officer.

An expert in cardiology and cardiovascular imaging, Heller has experience in medical imaging, pharmaceutical and radiopharmaceutical drug development, and research in clinical outcomes in nuclear cardiology, MIS said.

Heller is the author of more than 175 peer-reviewed papers and has been on the editorial board of several journals, including the American Journal of Cardiology, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology.

He is also past president of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC), the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), and the IAC Nuclear/PET division, the company said.
