Brief:  We are pleased to announce that the authors of the book "MRI in Practice" are giving a four-day course in Orlando, especially aimed at providing imaging professionals with the fundamental knowledge of the MRI process in a way that will enable them to go far beyond the realms of "button pushing" to being able to set the machines to give the exceptional quality of images demanded by the diagnostic process. Who should attend this course? Certainly anyone who is new to MRI, as this course will advance his or her knowledge quickly and enjoyably. More advanced personnel will consolidate existing knowledge, check the accuracy of their existing understanding, and learn more advanced aspects of MRI. Who are the teachers? Catherine Westbrook and John Talbot, authors of "MRI in Practice," are senior lecturers at the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, U.K. They are involved in teaching MRI by a range of methods from educational meetings to university-level distance learning programs.
