Ziehm debuts new C-arm at ECR

C-arm developer Ziehm Imaging introduced its Ziehm Solo C-arm at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.

The multipurpose system can handle pain management, orthopedic imaging, trauma, and spine surgery applications, according to Ziehm of Nuremberg, Germany. It requires minimal space in the operating room, and features flexible image display options, Ziehm said.

The system's CCD camera can produce more than 4,000 grayscales, and can be equipped with an optional integrated metal correction program to limit the overexposure of a fluoroscopic image caused by metal implants, Ziehm said.
