Cardinal debuts data tools at SNM

Cardinal Health is introducing real-time data integration tools for imaging centers and nuclear medicine facilities at this week's SNM annual meeting in Salt Lake City.

Syntrac Integration Tools will help nuclear medicine technologists and facility managers more easily compile, analyze, and share patient, procedure, and medication usage information, according to the Dublin, OH-based firm. It can electronically pull patient-specific information from PACS and scheduling systems, reducing the need to manually enter patient information multiple times, Cardinal said.

Other features include new standard and customizable reports that can track the types and quantities of procedures being performed, which cameras and technologists were used in various procedures, and which patients were referred by specific physicians, Cardinal said.

Syntrac Integration Tools can also assist in compliance as well as order accuracy and customer support, according to the firm.
