Carestream nets French accreditation

Carestream Health has received approval from the Ministry of Health and Sports in France to host personal health data.

The Carestream Health Managed Service portfolio complies with the Health Data Security and Confidentiality Reference Table published by the newly created Agency for Shared Information Systems in Healthcare -- Health ASIP -- which is responsible for organizing healthcare collaboration in France.

Carestream is the first medical imaging company to receive the accreditation, the Rochester, NY-based firm said.
