Spectral Molecular taps chief scientist

Optical imaging developer Spectral Molecular Imaging has named Gregory Bearman, PhD, as chief scientist.

Bearman comes to the Beverly, Hills, CA-based subsidiary of Cascade Technologies following a nearly 30-year stint as a physicist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA. In his new role, Bearman will guide the development of a range of imaging devices for the earlier detection of cancer and other diseases, Spectral Molecular said.
