MILabs, TU Delft develop preclinical PET/SPECT

MILabs has partnered with Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands to combine PET and SPECT biomedical imaging techniques on one device.

Called VECTor (Versatile Emission Computed Tomography), the device is designed for use on experimental animal models to perform fundamental research into the functioning of cells and organs, according to MILabs of Utrecht, the Netherlands. SPECT and PET imaging can be performed simultaneously, the company said.
