FDA, SNM, RSNA host workshop

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), SNM, and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) will host a joint two-day workshop on April 13-14 at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

The first day will cover general issues of standardization to control variability and inconsistency in methods of acquisition, interpretation, and analysis of images in clinical trials.

The second day will include an interactive tutorial on ways to address the FDA's regulatory expectations for PET drugs, particularly with respect to the recently issued regulations establishing the current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs).

The workshop is free and open to the public. Early registration is encouraged due to limited space.
