Siemens launches cardiac imaging software

Siemens Healthcare of Malvern, PA, has released syngo Dynamic PET with Myocardial Blood Flow, a new cardiac imaging software application for the company's Biograph PET/CT scanners.

The software is designed to enhance the diagnosis of patients with advanced coronary artery disease, specifically those patients with multivessel disease, as well as patients who are asymptomatic.

The syngo Dynamic PET with Myocardial Blood Flow application enables a more definitive measurement of myocardial blood flow during PET perfusion studies as compared to regular myocardial perfusion studies, according to the company.
