Eckert & Ziegler acquires Nuclitec

Radiotherapy and radiopharmaceutical developer Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen-und Medizintechnik has acquired Nuclitec and its two French and U.S. affiliates.

Eckert & Ziegler of Berlin paid 6.6 million euros (approximately $8.5 million U.S.) to complete the transaction for the isotope company, which is based in Braunschweig, Germany.

Nuclitec has approximately 120 employees and reported revenues of 23.1 million euros (approximately $29.6 million U.S.) in its 2008 fiscal year (end-March 31).
