Avid adds to executive team

Molecular imaging developer Avid Radiopharmaceuticals has tapped Christopher Bunting as vice president of marketing and sales.

Bunting comes to the Philadelphia-based firm after most recently serving as global brand director for neurology at GE Healthcare. In his new role, Bunting will be responsible for commercialization of Avid's fluorine-18 (F-18) AV-45 agent, currently in development for imaging amyloid plaque associated with Alzheimer's disease.
