Solid camera sales boost Digirad's Q3 revenues

Nuclear medicine vendor Digirad of Poway, CA, posted increased revenues for its third quarter (end-September 30).

For the period, the firm had consolidated revenue of $20.2 million, up 7% compared to $18.8 million in the same period in 2007. The company attributed its gains to solid camera sales and growth in its Digirad Imaging Solutions' (DIS) centers of influence locations. DIS revenues grew to $14 million, up 3% compared to $13.5 million in 2007.

Nine-month consolidated revenues were $58.4 million, an increase of 5% compared to $55.1 million in 2007. DIS revenue was $42 million, up 7% compared to 2007's $39 million.
