Image display calibration firm Qubyx Software Technologies has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for a bundle of its PerfectLum 4.0 display calibration and quality assurance software with an Apple iMac diagnostic medical display.
The bundle of the PerfectLum 4.0 and a 27-inch iMac display will be distributed and serviced in North America by Qubyx distributor Shareden Imaging Solutions. The iMac has a 5K Retina display with 1 billion colors, 500 nits of brightness, and a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels, Qubyx said.
