The American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) has approved the use of Corsmed's MRI simulator as part of required hours for students seeking to earn their MRI technologist certification.

To earn an ARMRIT certification, students must log at least 1,000 hours of clinical MRI training; now up to 250 of these hours can be completed using the Corsmed virtual MRI scanner. The simulator features a wide selection of sequences, protocols, procedures, parameters, and hardware to help students practice, according to Corsmed.
