CHICAGO - In an interview with AuntMinnie.com, Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) President Munir Ghesani, MD, discussed highlights of the society's annual meeting.

With the theme this year being "Eye on the Patient," he noted that theranostics -- an emerging field in nuclear medicine -- may define the concept of improving patient care through precision medicine.
