Based on IMV's 2011 PET Imaging Market Summary Report.

As of 2011, a total of 2,085 sites perform PET imaging studies. Nearly half of the sites (49%) have fixed PET/CT scanners, 6% have fixed PET scanners, and 45% are on a mobile van route that provides PET/CT or PET scanner services.
