(Booth 1972) X-ray film processor developer Protec Medical Systems of Oberstenfeld, Germany, will highlight Conaxx, image acquisition software for computed radiography (CR) and digital radiography (DR) systems.

2007 10 22 11 36 21 706Conaxx is included in Protec's Proscan 35 CR system, and can also be modified to operate other CR systems and DR panels. Conaxx's acquisition system includes an image acquisition module, as well as DICOM store and e-mail modules.

Conaxx offers users a variety of functions, including patient identification, general- and patient-oriented job management, image preview and optimization, and data transfer and archiving. Conaxx has not yet been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, but is available outside the U.S.
