| CT Colonography (Virtual Colonoscopy) Hands-on Workshop |
| CT colonography (CTC), also called virtual colonoscopy, is a rapidly evolving technology that will be presented in a program with individual, hands-on workstation training and didactic instruction by Dr. Arnold C. Friedman, a leader in this new imaging modality. The program will be held in Tucson, AZ, and is scheduled for two full days in a state-of-the-art modern classroom facility at the University of Arizona Radiology Department’s outpatient center. If possible, live patient scanning can be observed. This workshop will present the fundamentals and latest techniques of noninvasive colon cancer screening, normal CTC anatomy, CTC pitfalls, CTC diagnosis of polyps and carcinomas of the colon, and the approach to extracolonic findings. |
