| Awarded by the ARRS, ChestRadiology.net is a free, Web-based tutorial and reference database in thoracic tumor imaging and provides an interactive, step-by-step tutorial to train and refresh knowledge about benign or malignant findings in chest imaging. The tutorial consists of more than 150 pages and over 330 images covering multiple imaging modalities as well as pathology. Chapters offer learning material about tumor appearance, location, SPN/mass, carcinoid, adeno-CA, SCC, other pseudotumors, development of metastases, TNM, and therapy-induced patterns. Staging tools enhance the learning experience. Pre- and post-tests evaluate the learning progress. Free text search and predefined menus allow individual display of contents. The site is an interactive tutorial that serves residents and less experienced radiologists as a comprehensive learning tool, as well as a quick reference to differentiate benign from malignant findings in chest imaging. Developed by Dr. Roland Talanow, Ph.D., and Dr. Hans-Holger Jend. |
